Low rpm air motors are one of the most popular and most versatile power units in mechanical engineering.
For applications requiring precise and variable power and speed. Examples include air winches tension devices or rock drills for precise lifting , lowering, or turns. Unlike electric gear motors, there is no risk of burning out, nor temperature up with DSV high torque pneumatic motors.
The direction of rotation is instantly reversible.
Precise rotational power, high torque capacity. All air operated motors are available in spur gear reducer, planetary gear reducer, worm gear reducer.
Compressed Air lines
Please follow instructions of recommended air lines size for all different motor types. Especially those air gear motors equipped with one gear reducer to get enough output torque.
Without follow below instructions may cause output power, torque or speed decreases.
Outlet port hose is same or larger than inlet port hose. These recommendation is based on hoses length not longer than 3meters.
If hoses length is longer than 3meters, it is better to use a hose diameter bigger, one size or two sizes up.
Filter and lubricator
To ensure reliable operation, air filter and lubricator should be installed in the air intake line - within 3 meters of the rotary air motors.

Better control of speed, easy to adjust the working speed
In applications where speed adjustment is required - A single speed motor is not able to meet the requirements. DSV pneumatic gear motors can meet the rotation requirements.
More flexibility, easy adjustment of output torque
Provides more flexibility than most standard electric models. The DSV geared air motors provide variable adjustable rotational power. Through the reversing valve on the pipeline, the motor can be reversed instantaneously.
All the air motors can be changed by adjusting the supply air pressure to get request torque.
This makes it easier for our products to be part of your machine.
