· Intrinsically Safe & Explosion-Proof: As it does not generate sparks or risk of electrical overload, it is ideal for hazardous environments with flammable gases, vapors, or dust (e.g., mining, chemical plants, painting booths).

· Overload Capability & Robustness: Can be stalled indefinitely without damage from overheating (unlike electric motors). It is generally robust, durable, and resistant to harsh conditions including moisture, dust, and extreme temperatures.

· Simple & Reliable Design: Requires minimal maintenance-mainly lubrication and air filtration. It is compact and offers a high power-to-weight ratio.
